Hi. I’m Cal!

My love of fishing started in 2019 when my Papa Ricky took me bass fishing one Saturday afternoon - I was HOOKED (get it??) I wanted to learn as much as I could and spent all my free time fishing!

During the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine, fishing was one of the only things I could do and it made me realized how awesome it is for kids to have a fishing hobby!

I wanted to create these bait kits to encourage kids to get outdoors and have some fun!

In May 2020 I had a freak accident - a glass bottle exploded and a piece went into my eye. So far I’ve had two major surgeries and I still have a long road to recovery - I hope to regain some vision in my eye someday! I need to wear glasses 24/7 to protect my eyes.

I’m so thankful for the fishing community that encouraged me throughout my healing (Scott Martin sent me a get well video!!) and I’m SO GLAD I can still spend time doing what I love - fishing!

Today I went fishing after school and I got none but last cast Wyatt got one. I also sold my shimano slx to him as well. Remember bait kits are up, they make 16 senkos and are very fun to do, if you are stuck at home it is good to have one to make so
These are some of my highlights of this summer! Hoping to get some STUDS late fall, gonna try and get a boat by next spring, just a 12 foot Jon boat, with a simple 10 hp. . . I am also gonna try to get on a few more tournaments soon maybe one or two

A small fish is better than no fish!!.. With school and all I won’t be able to fish as much👎 but I do like to get out for a while everyday!! I will fish on days after school and on the weekends! . . I haven’t caught many big fish lately
I had a great time out on the water with @lawsonslunkers In the Wednesday nighter! The sunset was really pretty! Unfortunately we didn’t get a single bite!👎 . . We were hoping to get on some smallies, and possible largie as a backup. Nockamixo
Tonight didn’t go quite as planned (more on that later!) but I still got some casts in and pulled in a few of these little guys. . . Used my @daiwausa Tatula and a @_river2sea_ wopper plopper for a late evening fishing sesh and it was perfect
